Transforming Learning is a professional development service for teachers, team leaders and headteachers. It supports effective teaching and learning by using pupil voice – helping good teachers to become even better.

This powerful, web-based tool gathers confidential feedback to measure climate: the perceptions from pupils of how it feels to be in their class, or from staff of how it feels to be in their team.

Our work concentrates on developing the right environment for learning: the climate in the classroom, the behaviours and motivation of students and teachers, leadership capability, organisation structure, culture and strategy.

TL for Teachers

  • Encourages pupil voice initiatives by inviting pupils to answer specific questions anonymously
  • Provides each teacher with confidential feedback on the classroom climate he or she creates
  • Provides evidence for Ofsted & HMIE Self Evaluation and guides professional development, INSET and staff meetings

 

TL for Team Leaders

  • Invites colleagues to provide team leaders with confidential feedback on their leadership behaviours and the team climates they create
  • Helps school leadership teams see the impact they are having on the motivational climate of staff
