Privacy Policy

We recognise that the information provided to Transforming Learning by participants is highly sensitive and private. We therefore follow legislative requirements in our handling of personal data, as confidentiality is a cornerstone of effective development.

We will never release any personal data held on our electronic or conventional filing systems to the public or to any third parties, including government agencies. We will never reveal an individual's response and they are always grouped when providing feedback.

In addition, we take every reasonable step to ensure the safety of information in transmission between us and our participants. Each user has an individual, password-protected account to guard their data. All feedback gathered, notes taken and action plans created are entirely confidential.

Our aim is to ensure that Transforming Learning is a voluntary, positive and private experience that supports teachers and headteachers.

We periodically analyse the data stored in our database, in aggregate form, to provide normative data for the feedback and to uncover national and regional trends. While we will make this research public from time to time, we will never release data that could identify particular individuals or institutions.

This aggregate information, on trends and distributions, is also available to the managers of participating institutions. This enables them to offer development programmes that meet the needs of their staff. In doing so, we always preserve the anonymity of teachers, headteachers, pupils and schools as described above.

If you would like to discuss any issues concerning confidentiality or security, please contact us at Transforming Learning.
